Attendance & Grading

Attendance Requirements

Students must attend scheduled classes on a regular basis. Students who miss any portion of the course are responsible for making arrangements with the instructor to make up those sessions which are missed. Failure to attend class on a regular basis will cause the student to be dropped from the class. Students who fail to attend all units of instruction will not be considered graduates of the school, nor will they receive recommendation or job placement assistance from the school.

Grading and Graduation

In order to be considered a graduate of the school, students must complete each unit of study within the course they are taking in a satisfactory manner. Units of study will be repeated for individual students as the instructor deems necessary.

Students who complete and pass all units of study will receive a letter of introduction detailing the course content and stating the specific level of ability the student has attained while at the school.

Previous bar experience or training in bar service will be considered when planning the student's course of study; however credit cannot be given by the school for training by another institution or individual.
